The UK’s first national awards programme created specifically for fleet-focused independent garages has been unveiled by Fleet Guy.
The Fleet Guy Awards celebrate excellence across the sector, recognising the people and businesses that keep fleets across the UK moving. Entries are open until 6 September, and can be submitted by clicking this link. Garages and individuals are welcome to nominate themselves, with judging carried out by an independent panel.
There are six categories available for the inaugural awards, which will be presented at Fleet Guy Live on 9 October. The event is the first event to bring together independent garages and fleet companies for a full day of insight, connection and industry discussion. All attendees also receive a ticket to the pre-Blend social that evening.
The categories open for nominations are:
- Garage of the Year
- Community Member of the Year
- Rising Star
- Going the Extra Mile
- Garage Innovation
- Fleet Company of the Year.
Fleet Guy helping garages grow
Fleet Guy is the UK’s first Fleet Work Training Community, offering structured modules, live webinars, technical support and a pathway to Fleet Guy Certification, an elite standard of fleet workshops backed by IMI accreditation.
The awards sit within its wider mission to help garages grow profitable fleet work and build a confident, capable and connected national community. They recognise the garages and individuals who embody these values and are raising standards across the sector.
