Mobile Mechanics and Tyres was named Garage of the Year at the 2025 FixMyCar Awards, as some of the top garages in the UK descended on Silverstone.
The event saw workshops come together to enjoy the atmosphere in the Wing, at the UK’s home of motorsport. Celebrations were as loud as the cars out on track earlier in the day, as the winners of the 24 categories on the night were announced.
The FixMyCar Awards recognised the best garages in regions across the UK. In addition, a number of specialist workshops and mobile businesses were awarded, while two new categories were introduced.
This year’s event saw the presentation of the first ever Liam Payne Achievement Award. Named in honour of a cherished colleague that FixMyCar lost last year, the award was the only category to have no shortlist. It was presented by Harry Payne, Liam’s brother, to Duffys Motors, which was chosen by Liam’s former team at FixMyCar as the highest-achieving garage.
Mobile Mechanics and Tyres win big
The Garage of the Year award recognised outstanding levels of customer service, winning the highest number of jobs on the FixMyCar platform, while sending the highest number of quotes to drivers and having achieved a high review rating from customers.
The inaugural winners of Garage of the Year were Barnet-based Mobile Mechanics and Tyres. The business also took home three other awards in the evening, including Best Garage, London, Best Clutch Repair Specialist, and Best Brake Specialist.
Other winners included Formula One Autocentres, winning Best National Group sponsored by Niterra and IN’n’OUT Autocentres, winning Best Regional Group as well as their Erith branch winning the award for Best Servicing & MOT Specialist, sponsored by Bosch.
