Ruellans Garage, based on Jersey, has revealed that tracking digital leads through its new website has uncovered an unexpected source of new business.
The workshop, a mainstay on the island for more than three decades, has found that that 80% of online enquiries have been converted into booked work. While initially assuming the market was fully saturated, the launch of the new Ruellans Garage website has proven otherwise.
The online platform, built by specialist provider Garage Services Online, allows owner Andrew Rullan to monitor exactly who is finding the garage, where the leads are coming from, and what services customers are requesting.

Despite being based on a small island with a close-knit population, Andrew was surprised by how many new customers discovered Ruellans Garage through the website.
“I didn’t think we’d pick up many new customers on Jersey, but we’ve had enquiries from people who didn’t know we existed, even after 30 years,” He said. “That’s when you realise how powerful the right kind of website can be.
