A1 ADAS Solutions Group has announced a working partnership with FMG Repair Services, one of the largest vehicle repairers in the UK.
The partnership will see the ADAS and diagnostic experts working alongside FMG Repair Services’ mobile repair division on a national scale, supporting its growing fleet of vans and technicians.
A1’s initial task was to roll out full diagnostics training to FMG Repair Services and deliver an Autel MS906S Pro EU diagnostic machine and a GYS 30.12PL battery support unit to every van in FMG Repair Services’fleet; something that has been achieved in just under a month.
The Autel MS906S units have been supplied with an additional dynamic ADAS software package, along with an extended two-year software licensing deal.
Right tools for FMG Repair Services
Armed with the new equipment, FMG Repair Services’ mobile division will now have the power to quickly carry out pre and post vehicle scans, as well as carry out their own ADAS calibration. This not only means every technician will save time, they’ll be able to maintain complete control over the job and not be reliant on a third-party.
The system will also have the facility to be linked to A1’s Remote Diagnostics division; a fast-response service based at A1’s HQ where its technicians can remotely unlock problematic secure gateways and code new parts such as headlights.
