Benefits of Supertracker’s hang on system

When it comes to wheel alignment, ease and efficiency matter! That is why Supertracker’s ‘hang on’ system is the popular choice for thousands of garages around the UK.

Whether you are using a laser wheel alignment system or a computerised wheel alignment system, both come as standard with a hang on system. This works just as described, the hanger is hung onto the tyre with small grips for the tread and located in place with three plastic rim buttons which safely and without damage to wheels, positions the hanger with three points of contact.

This can be mounted to the tyre and removed in a matter of seconds, proving to be a quick wheel alignment solution.

Advantages of hang on system

The hanger and measuring heads are conveniently designed as one unit, this has many significant advantages;

  • Space saving – stored neatly together and docked/charged all together with the main workstation.
  • Time saving – no need to attach and remove the head from the hanger/clamp, saving valuable time.
  • Robust – Less likely to be prone to damage and / or loss, as they are not stored separately from one another, also as the system is calibrated as one unit, this keeps the integrity of machine.

The hang on system is designed to be lighter than three-point clamps on the market, helping with manageability and they are proudly made in the UK. Supertracker carries vast stocks in our central warehouse in Nottinghamshire, should replacements be required.

With the option of low spoiler hangers and off-road hangers for the laser systems. Supertracker also has dedicated commercial wheel alignment systems which feature hangers for large commercial vehicles, trucks and agricultural vehicles. We will soon be launching our new larger hanger to cater for a wider variety of tyre sizes as standard.

All Supertracker wheel alignment systems come with 12 months warranty and are backed by a nationwide aftercare service team. With a dedicated wheel alignment training studio in Worksop, we welcome you to come and try the hang on system vs three-point clamps in our training studio and make an informed decision for yourself.
