Cataclean announces partnership with Kwik Fit

Cataclean has announced a partnership with Kwik Fit, positioning itself as the fast-fit brand’s official supplier of fuel and engine additives.

The announcement was made at the recent Goodwood Festival of Speed, where the garage chain had a large presence as it promoted sponsorship of the British Touring Car Championship.

The news was broken by ITV Sport’s Louise Goodman, who was joined on stage by Mark Slade CEO of Kwik Fit, Cataclean brand ambassador and BTCC driver, Dan Rowbottom, William Jones and Alliance Automotive Group (AAG) / NAPA Key Account Operations Manager, Mat Adams, to confirm details of the deal.

Motorsport pedigree for Cataclean

As part of this new partnership, Cataclean’s additives product range will be distributed via NAPA to more than 700 Kwik Fit retail autocentres across the UK. This move is a key part of the brand’s commitment to providing engine and fuel system additives that enhance vehicle performance and reduce harmful emissions.

“Our fuel and exhaust system cleaner is an ideal product for Kwik Fit and its customers, offering a comprehensive solution that cleans the entire fuel and exhaust system in one simple treatment,” commented Jones. “This helps to reduce harmful emissions, improve MPG, and keep vehicles running better, cleaner, and longer.”

The announcement at the Festival of Speed was the perfect backdrop for the two companies, both heavily involved in the BTCC. Cataclean has supported multiple race-winner Dan Rowbottom since 2017 in the Kwik Fit-sponsored series, and it was Rowbottom’s on and off-track drive and commercial thinking has been instrumental in bringing the brands together.

“I am extremely proud of this deal, and it wouldn’t have been possible without our participation with the NAPA Racing Team UK in the BTCC and the relationships that we’ve been able to build there,” Rowebottom stated.

Jones added: “At Cataclean, we have always looked at our sponsorship in motorsport from a commercial perspective, not just being a sticker on the car. This is something you have to work hard at by bringing partnerships such as this together and we would like to thank everyone at Kwik Fit, NAPA and the BTCC for playing a part in this announcement.”
