Laser Tools has launched a new portable, self-priming, drill-powered pump (part number 8702), the perfect solution for swift and effortless fluid extraction or transfer.
The handy tool features a ¼-inch shank, quick chuck style drive shaft, enabling compatibility with any cordless or electric drill, operating at a maximum speed of 3500rpm.
As a corrosion-resistant drill pump, the product is suitable for light liquids such as water, saltwater, coolant and various oils. Laser Tools stated that due to the risk of sparks generated by the drill, this pump is not suitable for use with petrol or other flammable liquids.
Versatile drill-powered pump
The drill-powered pump has impressive water output of 15-litres per minute when used at 1500rpm and includes two hose adapters, suitable for pipes and hoses with an internal diameter of 12.5mm (½-inch) For optimal performance, it is advisable to mount the pump as close to the liquid level as possible
Additionally, the body of the pump is marked with arrows, clearly indicating the direction of fluid flow. Whether you are working in your workshop or at home, this drill-powered pump is your trusty companion for a multitude of applications, from tank emptying to cistern pumping.
