Entries for the Independent Garage Association (IGA) BIG Awards 2024 close on 31st January, meaning garages do not have long to submit their nominations across a range of categories.
The British Independent Garage (BIG) Awards are an opportunity for the UK’s independent workshops to highlight why they are the best in the UK. Drivers around the country are relying on the independent sector more than ever, and the BIG Awards 2024 offers an opportunity to showcase both business and technical talent.
Last year’s event was bigger and better than ever, and the IGA is carrying the expanded category list into the BIG Awards 2024, celebrating both the garages themselves and the businesses that supply into them. There are opportunities to be recognised by customers, and for work carried out in the community, as well as celebrating those workshops that are committed to providing a sustainable workplace.

There are a number of categories for garages to consider when submitting nominations for the BIG Awards 2024. These are:

Continuing success
The IGA launched the BIG Awards to shine a spotlight on the UK independent garage industry. The BIG Awards 2024 are open to all and recognise garages across the length and breadth of Britain, with categories highlighting all areas that contribute to making the independent garage stand out from the crowd.
The successful award finalists will be announced later this year. This will be followed by an awards evening and dinner, where those nominated will be invited to attend.
The BIG Awards offer garages an opportunity to highlight the work they do to both the rest of the automotive aftermarket, and to customers. Entries close on 31st January, so be sure to put your name into the hat, and be in with a chance of taking home a prestigious award.
