LKQ Euro Car Parts has announced the launch of a community fund for the Garage Hive network, to further support their partnership.
The news comes just over a year after the full LKQ Euro Car Parts catalogue was integrated into the award-winning Garage Hive digital garage management system. This came about in response to feedback from users.
Since this integration, members of the Garage Hive system have been able to select the ‘basket’ of parts they need from LKQ Euro Car Parts’ range, add them to a job sheet and send a purchase order to their nearest branch, all without leaving the system.
The success of the integration and ongoing partnership has been such LKQ Euro Car Parts is now investing back into the community with the creation of a first-of-its-kind fund that will be used to support training and networking events.
More details of the LKQ Euro Car Parts x Garage Hive fund will be unveiled at The Blend, the independent garage annual conference and networking event, taking place on the 28th September in Birmingham.
Close partnership with Garage Hive
“We are very proud of our close partnership with Garage Hive, which goes back many years, long before the integration of our catalogue, which was a landmark moment for both parties just over 12 months ago,” commented Andy Southby, Chief Commercial Officer at LKQ UK & Ireland.
“The team behind the solution and the garage owners and technicians in the wider Garage Hive community share our commitment to building a bright future for the independent aftermarket, and recognise that digital solutions and capabilities are key to doing so.
“With our new community fund, we are keen to help more garages benefit from Garage Hive’s best-in-class platform while strengthening relationships within the Garage Hive community.
“We are long-term advocates of garage management software systems and are keen to help more workshops realise the benefits in terms of maximising productivity, minimising downtime and delivering customer service that rivals the dealerships.”
Ray Dilsons, Managing Director of Garage Hive, added: “We are incredibly pleased to have LKQ Euro Car Parts supporting our community through this new fund, and we cannot wait to unveil all the details at The Blend on 28th September.
“Many of our users already benefit from the integration of the LKQ Euro Car Parts catalogue. The integrated pricing, availability, and self-service ordering has proven to be very popular. It is just one of the many features designed to save time and make running a busy garage business more efficient and much less stressful.”
