Garage Services Online has won the Industry Partner Award at the CAT Awards 2023, highlighting its efforts in supporting independent garages to improve their web presence.
The CAT Awards, run by Car Aftermarket Trader, was held at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester, and attended by over 150 people from across the UK automotive aftermarket sector. Radio personalisty James Cannon hosted the afternoon, while the guest speaker was four times BTCC champion Colin Turkington.
The Industry Partner Award, sponsored by Automechanika Birmingham, celebrates businesses that provide the aftermarket with professional services and, being open to such a wide array of firms, is fiercely contested at the annual CAT Awards.
Efforts highlighted at CAT Awards
Jim Lang, managing director at Garage Services Online said: “We are absolutely blown away to receive this amazing award. Just like the IAAF Highly Commended Service Provider of the Year Award we received two months ago, this was voted for by our customers and industry peers. That means a lot.
“It tells us what we’re doing does make a real difference to independent garages and the sector as a whole.
“The aftermarket is continuing to face real challenges. Our aim is to empower independent garages to take more control of what work goes on their ramps. By doing this, they will not only be more profitable and in control of their business; they will be less susceptible to the effect of any turbulence within the aftermarket.”
