The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has launched a new parts advisor training programme for motor factors in the UK.
The move is aimed at supporting parts distributors, and the wider supply chain of suppliers and garages, with improved automotive parts sales performance.
Working in partnership with IAAF Service Provider ASC WebCoach, the federation has conducted a highly successful pilot programme of its new Proactive Parts Advisor Programme, which looks at proactive parts sales, effective customer relationships and compliant handling.
Options for parts advisor training
Through a blended learning approach of virtual classroom training, coaching and 1-2-1 support, parts advisors have the opportunity of a short training session or a certified training course. All courses include training materials, support tools and videos to assist continual learning.
The aim of this blended parts advisor training programme is to provide IAAF members with updated and refined customer handling skills, leading to an improved customer experience, increased performance and better staff retention.
ASC WebCoach has been designing, developing and deploying automotive Virtual Training solutions since 2010 and classroom based or in-business training and coaching since 2004.
