ifndautoparts launch takes to the event circuit

The team behind new online parts buying and selling marketplace ifndautoparts will be showcasing the benefits of the service at three major motoring events.

After almost four years of development, ifndautoparts is now live as both a website and a phone app, and breaks cover to the public at the upcoming Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show at the NEC from 21 to 23 March.

“We will be part of the FBHVC (Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs) stand area in Hall 5,” explains ifndautoparts director, Mick Lunn. “We will have a small counter where people will have the chance to meet the crew, get to know what ifndautoparts is all about, and see for themselves how easy it is to use. They can also, of course actually list their parts, or purchase something through the app.”

Looking to reach the hardcore classic car audience, which is a key target for the nascent business at the NEC event, the following weekend sees ifndautoparts switch its thrust towards the car tuning and modifying enthusiasts, with a major presence at Petrolheadonism Underground, which takes place in the car parks around Wembley Stadium.

The following month, ifndautoparts is proud to be a partner at this year’s Japfest, the largest UK show for all things related to Japanese cars, which takes place at Silverstone on 12 and 13 April. Look out for the infdautoparts garage in the pits complex and also the “ifndautoparts bullet train” which will be ferrying visitors around Silverstone over the course of the event.

What is ifndautoparts?

ifndautoparts is a new business set up by a family of car enthusiasts who were forever experiencing difficulties getting parts for their various classic and performance machines. It seemed obvious to father, Mick Lunn, that there was an opportunity for something that addressed this need and now, after four years in development, ifndautoparts has broken cover.

Communications Director, Layla Lunn explained: “From streamlined bidding processes to exclusive trade pricing, no other marketplace offers crafted tools that make buying and selling more efficient and effective.

“Therefore, whether you are restoring a classic, upgrading your daily driver, or running a business selling parts, ifndautoparts gives you an easy, secure way to list, sell, and buy parts all in one place. No listing fees, no endless scrolling through unrelated items. Just car parts, from fellow enthusiasts.”

Different to the others

Because it is designed for enthusiasts by enthusiasts, the platform is not just another marketplace. It offers a host of features that differentiate it from other online automotive sales platforms.

My Garage, Saved Searches, Match Me, Inventory Management, and Wishlist combine with other well known and loved features such as Click & Collect, an Auction and Make an Offer. ifndautoparts also presents the user with various secure methods of payments as well as the ability to work with Trade Pricing and create a bespoke virtual shopfront within the platform.

Overall, it aims to simplify buying and selling for both individuals and businesses.

ifndautoparts is also the only online platform built exclusively for buying and selling car parts

“What sets the platform apart is its commitment to transparency and community. Unlike traditional marketplaces, it prioritises clear communication and support, ensuring that every transaction is smooth and hassle-free,” added Marketing Director Ruby Lunn. “ifndautoparts is not just a marketplace; it is a hub for automotive passion and performance, dedicated to improving the lot of everyone who works on cars, whether for business or for pleasure – because buying and selling car parts shouldn’t be hard!”
