Cheltenham-based Cleevely Group, in partnership with Cotswold Diagnostics, has been recognised as an Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) approved training centre, underlining its commitment to supporting UK technicians.
Following the success of its “At Ease with EV” courses in 2024, the industry-renowned workshop now offers a wider range of professional training qualifications led by acclaimed technical trainer, Alistair Finch.
From diagnostics and exhaust gas treatment to advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and electric vehicle (EV) servicing, the training combines practical, hands-on experience with expert-led instruction. Each course is tailored to provide technicians with the skills and qualifications required to excel in a rapidly changing industry.
“By combining our expertise with Cleevely Group, we are equipping delegates with the skills and confidence they need to succeed,” said Alistair Finch of Cotswold Diagnostics. “It also brings an exciting opportunity for technicians to gain their qualification while training at the UK’s leading independent EV specialist.”
Hands on at Cleevely Group
Cleevely Group’s IMI-accredited Level 2 and Level 3 EV qualification is expected to be particularly popular. Delivered over three days for £550 per delegate, the unique course provides hands-on training in a real-world EV workshop, equipping participants with the skills and knowledge to confidently service and repair EVs.
“We are proud to achieve IMI Approved Training Centre status,” said Matt Cleevely, Managing Director at Cleevely Group. “This milestone reflects our dedication to inspiring and empowering technicians through practical, workshop-based learning.”
For technicians already with IMI Level 2, 3, or 4 qualifications, Cleevely Group has confirmed that its popular “At Ease with EV” training course will return in 2025. Limited places are available for the upcoming sessions on 18th January and 29th March, so early booking is recommended.
