Laser Tools Racing is partnering with MB Motorsport and BTCC driver Jake Hill for the 2023 season, with the team to be known as Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport.
The tools brand has been involved in the British Touring Car Championship since 2014, and MB Motorsport has now been entrusted with the branding for this year. Both parties are united in their bid to embark on a fully-fledged title assault in the upcoming 2023 campaign, with Jake Hill behind the wheel of the WSR-run BMW 330e M Sport – a combination that proved so potent back in its debut campaign last year.
Buoyed by their new partnership with MB Motorsport, Laser Tools Racing intends to use its BTCC association as part of a wider marketing campaign to support the continued growth of its hand and specialist tools brand. Aligning with the new Hybrid era of the BTCC, the Championship provides the perfect platform for Laser Tools to promote its range of fully insulated tools and workshop safety equipment for working on electric and hybrid cars.
Bringing together two fanbases, Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport will be seeking to make their mark on the Championship in more ways than one as they work together to offer fans greater engagement, access and insight into the team’s operation both trackside and beyond.
Partnership allows Laser Tools Racing to stay in BTCC
Despite having initially made the decision to exit the series, Laser Tools’ affinity for the BTCC and its fanbase has never been in question and MB Motorsport’s vision for building and developing partnerships beyond the race paddock has served to forge a key part of Laser Tools’ wider sales and marketing strategy moving forward.
