Mintex-sponsored Lewis Brown has secured third place in the JCW Mini Challenge championship for 2021.
The final weekend of racing at Brands Hatch saw Brown dominate, achieving a lap record on his way to pole position in race one, which also saw him secure six bonus points for his qualifying performance.
After winning the first and second races, Brown finished in seventh position in the final round, meaning he finished in third place in the championship standings.
“Finishing the 2021 Championships in third place felt amazing,” Brown commented. “All the challenges, preparation, races and training were worth it.
“I would like to say a special thanks to my incredible sponsors and for all of those who came out to support me. I am ready to come back fighting in 2022!”
All cars in both the JCW and Cooper Classes of the Mini Challenge Championships 2021 ran on Mintex racing brake pads and in the Copper Class, all cars used Mintex brake discs too for optimum performance and safety on circuit.
