NGK has raised a total of £7876.09 for MacMillan Cancer Support, through the sale of promotional material at the recent Motorcycle Live show.
The ignition and sensor specialist has long been associated with the two-wheel bike scene both on the road and in motorcycle racing, where its range of spark plugs have helped the world’s leading teams and riders to victory.
Capitalising on this success, the company exhibited at the event, held at the NEC in Birmingham, where it sold a number of promotional items, with proceeds going to the cancer support charity.
“I would like to thank everyone who came on to our stand and purchased our promotional goodies,” said Mark Hallam, Marketing Manager, NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd Our staff were kept extremely busy throughout the show, but it was well worth it to raise funds for such an important charity.”
NGK welcomed some major motorcycle stars to its stand at the show, including Isle of Man TT legend John McGuinness, three-time World Speedway Champion Tai Woffinden, and Superstock racers Chrissy Rouse and Brayden Elliott who signed posters for fans.
The NGK stand also attracted a number of non-motorsport celebrities including chef James Martin and actor Danny John-Jules who both enjoyed the company’s hospitality.
