This weekend’s REPXPERT Academy Live event will feature a free advice clinic run by online and website advice company Garage Services Online.
The event, which is being hosted by Schaeffler at York College from 9am on Saturday 12 November, is the first standalone REPXPERT event of its kind in the North and is set to welcome garage owners and technicians from across the region.
As garages around the country start to feel the effects of the cost-of-living crisis, with rising parts costs, energy bills increasing and a need to ensure staff wages are kept in line with cost-of-living, Garage Services Online feel that the opportunity to take part in a free business advice clinic is one that should not be missed.
It is not just about the ability to build an online presence, with communication also at the forefront of needs when it comes to business promotion. The company feels that a good garage business is not just determined by its technicians’ knowledge, but also by its communication, while an effective marketing plan needs to be in place to ensure the return on investment of equipment and the technical skills themselves.”
Business and online platform advice at a critical time
Jim Lang, managing director at Garage Services Online said: “The REPXPERT events offer a fantastic opportunity to learn and takeaway great technical knowledge – for free.
“With four workshops throughout the day covering suspension, double-clutch systems, timing belt drive systems and effective communication skills, there’s great value in attending. There is so much that garages can be doing to attract the most profitable work they want via online platforms, but many don’t know how to go about it. That is why we will be there from Garage Services Online running a free advice clinic.
“We will also happily run a free website health check for any attendees at REPXPERT Academy Live so the day promises to offer a well-rounded learning opportunity for garage businesses.”
The doors to REPXPERT Academy Live open at 9am for breakfast and registration, with the training workshops starting at 11am and finishing around 5pm. To register your attendance, click below.
