Power-TEC has announced the latest addition to its extensive range of professional bodyshop tools and equipment: a PDR Tap-Down kit (part number 92689).
The PDR Tap-Down kit comprises a pair of aluminium punch-type tap-down tools supplied with a comprehensive assortment of interchangeable heads.
These tools, designed for precise and gentle repair work, are ideal for addressing high spots and removing small dents and dings on body panels. Each tool boasts an aluminium body with an anodised finish, combined with rubber inserts for enhanced grip. The smaller tool is also equipped with a magnet in the body, allowing for convenient stowage during repairs.
Included in the PDR Tap-Down kit
The comprehensive head assortment includes:
- 16 hard plastic POM (polyoxymethylene) heads that offer high stiffness and excellent wear resistance.
- Four thermoplastic PEI (polyetherimide) heads which combine their high strength and stiffness with excellent heat and chemical resistance.
- Seven carbon-steel heads for steel panel repairs.
- Four stainless steel heads (for alloy panel repairs) and three reversible stainless steel heads for detail repairs.
- Six thread adaptors.
Supplied in a durable plastic storage box. The heads are also compatible with the Power-TEC telescopic PDR hammer, part number 92674.
