Ring RTG4 tyre pressure gauge wins test

Ring’s RTG4 Digital Keyring Tyre Pressure Gauge has won Auto Express’s tyre gauge test with the product becoming Auto Express’s ‘Best Buy’ 2024 and being awarded five out of five stars.

Ring’s RTG4 is a digital tyre gauge with keyring attachment, making it lightweight and convenient to carry around, and therefore easy for users to check their tyre pressures regularly. This award-winning gauge gives accurate readings in PSI, kPA, BAR and kg/cm2. The gauge even comes with an integrated LED light to help drivers find the tyre valve in the dark.

The Auto Express piece states: “It fitted easily onto the valves, the reading remained on the screen for 12 seconds, and the device stayed live for almost a minute – perfect for moving between tyres.”

RTG4 not the first ‘first’

This is not the first time Ring has won an Auto Express award. In fact, due to the high quality and popularity of the brand and its products, the company is a regular in the product tests that the journalists conduct for the title, especially when it comes to tyre care.

Another product that has been recently tested by Auto Express is its cordless tyre inflator, the RTC4000, which has won a host of awards from the automotive industry. The tyre inflator was given five out of five stars in a mini test and was Auto Express’s ‘Our Pick’ for the test.

Henry Bisson, Marketing Director at Ring, said: “We are thrilled to receive the award in this test, the RTG4 is certainly small but mighty and users seem to like the fact that it is compact enough to have on your keyring! When developing products, we like to ensure they are as convenient and easy to use as possible for the consumer.

“Particularly as we’re entering the holiday season, we are focusing a lot on our tyre care products at the minute, including our other featured product in Auto Express, the cordless tyre inflator, the RTC4000, so we are pleased that we’re becoming a force in the tyre care sector and can ensure the safety of road users when it comes to their tyres.”
