This year’s Ringmechanika, organised by Ring Automotive, has been hailed as a success, with more than 50 guests attending the event at its Leeds headquarters.
For the fourth year in a row, Ringmechanika saw customers and journalists descend on the company’s base, including its lighting laboratory, to see both current and new products, and celebrate Ring Automotive’s 50th anniversary.
On display at this year’s Ringmechanika was an extenstive product offering, featuring lighting, battery and tyre care and more under both the Ring and parent company, OSRAM brands. The event also included new product launches, which gave guests the opportunity to be some of the first to see and experience the new products.
Ringmechanika also gave customers a chance to view the lighting lab at the headquarters, where Ring and OSRAM test their bulbs to ensure they’re compliant with current legislation, while maximising their illumination of the road. Visitors were also able to speak with the sales team to discuss their requirements and the best solutions and products they could offer their customers.
Ringmechanika brings interactivity
Speaking to Auto Repair Focus, Ring Automotive Managing Director Andy Gratton commented: When COVID-19 hit, we effectively lost the ability to interact with our customers, our suppliers and some of our partners.
“So, when some of the big trade shows were being cancelled, we decided to create Ringmechanika. It was a way to bring customers and our partners to site and talk about latest innovations, latest services, and get together. We think it is really important to have those face-to-face interactions. You come up with more ideas, and more collective opportunities, which we believe is important.”
Henry Bisson, Marketing Director at Ring, added: “What a way to celebrate our 50th birthday. Ringmechanika proved to be an excellent event and well worth all of the time and effort our team puts into it, as it gives our customers a fantastic opportunity to speak to us, look around our facilities and dive deeper into the products we offer.
“This is our fourth year running Ringmechanika and it continues to grow in size and attendance, which shows that there is a clear appetite for a customer-centric event like this. We are already planning next year and cannot wait to see the continued success of it.”
