Schaeffler REPXPERT training brings back ‘Tea-Break’ sessions for 2023

Schaeffler’s REPXPERT training team will be back in front of the cameras to deliver its latest Zoom-based ‘Tea-Break Training’ over two sessions in March.

Taking place on 1st March at 12.30pm and 6.30pm, Simon Cooper and Alistair Mason will be joined by other members of the REPXPERT team to bring their combined knowledge and expertise to information hungry technicians, this time focusing on the subject of ‘Future Technology’ and the opportunities it presents to forward looking independent workshops.

Repxpert training

“The mission of Schaeffler’s REPXPERT training programme is to empower independent aftermarket professionals,” said Schaeffler Technical Manager, Alistair Mason. “This includes informing them about future products, systems and technologies that are poised to enter independent workshops in the next few years.

“Technologies such as hybridisation and electrification are really in the spotlight at the moment, so it is important for us to demonstrate the central role that Schaeffler is playing in these developments. As the work we are doing with vehicle manufacturers at original equipment level filters down to the aftermarket, it will impact those servicing and repairing vehicles fitted with what we are currently calling ‘future technology’, but for us it has been years in the making.”

Schaeffler innovations in REPXPERT training

Another topic covered in the REPXPERT training sessions will be Schaeffler’s OneCode label system, which features a unique QR code on the packaging of all future Schaeffler products that enables technicians to get direct access to important technical information from their smartphone.

“One simple scan of the OneCode provides instant digital access to all the usual REPXPERT product and technical information, including detailed installation instructions and specifications, whilst instantly collecting REPXPERT bonus points for members to redeem against workshop clothing, tools and consumables in the bonus shop,’ Mason continued.

“The scan also checks the authenticity of the product, providing an additional security measure for both parts suppliers and workshops, another important tool for us to highlight during the REPXPERT training session.”
