Stoney Cross Garage wins big at Servicesure Awards 2023

Stoney Cross Garage and Cleevely Electric Vehicles have taken home the big prizes at this year’s Servicesure Autocentre of the Year Awards.

Owned and operated by GSF Car Parts, Servicesure is a group of over 600 garages adhering to a strict level of quality and service. This year’s annual Servicesure Awards were the biggest yet and saw a trade show, sponsored by suppliers Comma and Delphi, take place prior to the evening of entertainment and celebration.

The awards cover a comprehensive range of categories and aim to give recognition to Servicesure members, service providers and GSF staff who have shown outstanding performance throughout the year. 

Success for Stoney Cross Garage

The jewel in the crown of the Servicesure Awards is the overall Autocentre of the Year prize. This year, the accolade was won by Derby-based Stoney Cross Garage.

“Our relationship with Servicesure has always been brilliant, so it felt really good to win this award as it shows we are recognised for what we do,” commented Julian Hazeldine, owner of Stoney Cross Garage. “The team and I do a lot of hours and it is great to see that work pay off. 

“We have been with Servicesure for four years and the relationship has only ever improved. We get regular visits, and we make sure the Stoney Cross Garage staff are trained to the highest standards through the resources available with Servicesure. The communication is excellent and there’s nothing that’s too much trouble for them. We’ve got a really strong team here and it is stronger all the time thanks to Servicesure.”

Double success for Cleevely Electric Vehicles

With a growing need for electric vehicle servicing, as registration numbers of the powertrain technology continue to rise in the UK, this year’s Servicesure Awards also recognised the importance of this aspect of the aftermarket, via its EVSure offshoot.

Cleevely Electric Vehicles took home the EVSure Garage of the Year award, while owner Matt Cleevely also picked up the Special Recognition Award.

“It was a huge surprise to win, and the Special Recognition Award was really overwhelming,” said Cleevely. “We have been with Servicesure for around three years now and it is a fantastic network to be a part of. I really admire what they are doing, especially in promoting the specialism of EV repair and maintenance, which can only be good for the wider trade. 

“We never take anything for granted. It is a massive team effort here and my wife and I are so grateful to have a team that understand the future of the industry and are happy to work towards it. Winning an award is never something we assume we’re going to do, so it is fantastic to be recognised.”

Celebrating Servicesure network
