The UK Garage and Bodyshop Event in June will give technicians an opportunity to refresh their skills and technical understanding with the latest industry trends and insights, with a whole host of exhibitors offering seminars and training.
The one-of-a-kind event at Birmingham’s NEC is aimed at helping attendees grow their businesses and is therefore providing a wide selection of informative workshops and talks from over 45 industry speakers and 100 leading industry suppliers.
“Our exceptional line up of industry talent will give our attendees tangible knowledge and skills to take back to their businesses, enabling them to futureproof their workshops, adapt working practices, and thrive in the changing landscape of the industry,” said Grant Elrick, sales director at exhibition organisers Messe Frankfurt UK.
“Garages and bodyshops cannot afford to stand still as technology and working methods move forward, and the commercial know-how is as important as ever given the current costs of operating a business. We have some of the best industry talent attending and so it is a must to attend for those who don’t want to fall behind the curve!” Elrick adds.
Big names in attendance
The UK Garage and Bodyshop Event’s dedicated technical training hubs will feature big names in the automotive industry with Andy Savva and the Modern Workshop showcase offering talks about what bodyshop managers need to do to take their workshops to new heights.
Bringing a huge focus on the collision repair sector for the first time, the UK Garage and Bodyshop Event features demonstrations by GYS who will showcase heat induction, spot welds, riveting and dent pulling. Tersoson will be in attendance with a live OEM seam sealing replication demo, and Cornerstone Technologies will give visitors a chance to see paintless dent repair in action.
To help maximise time out of the workshop at the industry’s biggest in-person event since 2019, the UK Garage and Bodyshop’s training partner Bosch will be showcasing its latest ADAS 3000 kit and discussing all things digitalisation. RPM Welding Consultants will exhibit its IMI-accredited GYS equipment. And Valeo will have on-demand training sessions on dual dry clutch removal and refitting.
Visitors to the UK Garage and Bodyshop Event can also see dedicated training sessions from leading suppliers such as Group Auto, Snap-On, Castrol, Autogem, The Tool Connection and Liqui Moly. Training sessions and live talks will cover TPMS, intelligent diagnostics, getting ready for EVs, The Dos and Don’ts of DPF Repair, The Future of Hydrogen and much more.
