Tyre bead seater from Laser Tools

Tyre bead seating can be tricky at the best of times, with correct seating essential for both tyre safety and performance.

The new compressed-air tyre bead seater from Laser Tools (part number 8771), aims to help with the process. It is ideal for use on cars and light commercial vehicles to help fit the tyre-bead on the rim. The tool is particularly useful where the volume of air that can be applied via the tyre valve is not enough to seat the bead correctly and it fails to seal.

With a six-litre capacity, the tool is easily charged using the workshop compressed air supply, up to a maximum pressure of 145psi. The safety valve automatically activates when the air charging reaches the maximum operating pressure.

Once charged, users simply aim the outlet nozzle between the tyre bead and wheel rim. Pressing the one-shot trigger and discharging the full charge of compressed air will then instantly seal the bead. Technicians can then bring the tyre up to the correct pressure using a tyre inflator.

As well as being useful in the workshop, this CE-certified compressed-air tyre bead seater is the ideal portable tool for mobile tyre fitters. It is available now for purchase from Laser Tools stockists and online retailers.
