Laser Tools has introduced a coolant cap wrench into its product range, solving an issue with certain Volkswagen Group vehicles.
In some models, the coolant expansion tank caps can be difficult to remove This can be due to restricted access on the vehicle, as well as sticking seals due to the constant heating and cooling.
The Laser Tools coolant cap wrench (part number 8819) has been specifically designed for use on the VAG OEM 2Q0121321 and 2Q0121321A caps, as fitted to various VW Group vehicles from 2008 onwards (including EV and Hybrid).

The ring-type coolant cap wrench is super-slim to gain access, it fits snugly over the expansion tank cap, then is simply and easily turned by a 3/8″ drive ratchet or bar.
