DVSA Update – MOT annual training assessment: check your results are recorded correctly

The DVSA have issued a reminder to complete and record this year’s MOT annual training and assessment.

Their reminder advises of changes to the certificate acceptance deadline, stating: “The cut off time for certificates to be automatically uploaded is 6pm on 31 March 2020. Certificates can be manually uploaded until midnight on 31 March 2020.”

The DVSA will not be accepting certificates emailed in after March 31st, or backdating results to profiles manually as they have done in previous years, so it is vital that testers check that their training certificate has been uploaded onto the MTS under the right group category.
DVSA state: “If you have not completed, passed or made sure the annual assessment is recorded against your profile correctly by 31 March 2020 you will be suspended from testing.

This means you will have to complete and pass the 2020 to 2021 training, annual assessment and DVSA demonstration test before you can return to testing.”

The DVSA have also reminded testers how to check if their certificate details are correct: “Check your MOT testing profile using the ‘Annual assessments’ link on the right hand side of the page to make sure your certificate details are correct. If you receive reminders this means your certificate details have not been entered.”
