The UK’s longest-running trade show for the independent aftermarket is returning to Sandown Park Racecourse in Esher, Surrey, on the 7th and 8th November. The two-day show brings over 50 exhibitors from across the sector together with automotive workshop owners.
This November sees Mechanex once again bringing together the most important suppliers in the aftermarket to provide workshop owners and technicians with an engaging, informative day out of the workshop. Mechanex is known within the industry for offering visitors a hands-on experience, bringing them the latest updates and expertise from across the industry and providing an exciting day away from the workshop.
Alongside Mechanex, 2023 sees the introduction of the PMM LIVE brand. This homage to the organising publication will see Mechanex feature two separate seminar areas: the Technical Talks seminar area and the Learning Lounge. As with last year’s show, both stands are CPD-accredited.
Exhibitors back for Mechanex 2023
So far, more than 50 aftermarket tools, parts and product suppliers have signed up to the show, including Autoquip, 3D Group, Hickleys, Supertracker, Opus IVS, Launch UK, Motul, Rotronics and MAHA.
This year’s show will be supported by a main sponsor for the first time, with Mann+Hummel stepping into the position. The OE filtration brand’s commitment to technical excellence perfectly matches Mechanex’s mission to raise standards among aftermarket technicians. Not only will the firm be supporting the show, it will be bringing its team of experts to educate attendees on the importance of high-quality materials in its filtration offering.
Despite Just Stop Oil protesters hampering efforts, visitors to last year’s Mechanex were up year-on-year and the organisers expect this trend to continue. Even more exhibitors have signed up to 2023’s show, whilst promotional activity has increased to better reflect the event’s standing in the market.
Alldata shares its expertise
The PMM Live seminar arena will be sponsored by diagnostic and repair solutions provider Alldata Europe, where the company will be on hand to share its expertise with those attending the Mechanex event.
UK Sales Director Simon Frost will take to the stage to share insights in a dedicated speaking session. This presentation will draw on the company’s experience with up-to-date repair data originally created by the 33 vehicle manufacturers that Alldata has licence agreements with. He will also focus on the many benefits of an Alldata Repair subscription.
“Alldata Europe is thrilled to be part of Mechanex, and I am personally excited to connect with the hardworking technicians who are the backbone of the automotive aftermarket,” Frost commented.
