The DVSA have published a new Special Notice outlining further information about connected MOT equipment, as well as the procedure on how to set up connected equipment. The next piece of equipment this applies to is decelerometers.
The Special Notice provides details regarding:
- About MOT connected equipment
- Who it applies to
- How you connect equipment
- What happens if equipment fails
- Other types of connected equipment
The rule applies to decelerometers from 1 February 2020.
