Renowned lighting specialist, OSRAM and its subsidiary, automotive accessory giant, Ring, has revealed its support of the NAPA racing team for British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) this year.
An unchanged driver line-up will be led by defending champion Ash Sutton, who goes into 2024 looking to become the first driver in history to win five Drivers’ championship titles. Joining Sutton again will be Dan Cammish, Dan Rowbottom and Sam Osbourne.
The reigning BTCC champions are welcoming new sponsors into this coming season, two of which are Ring Automotive, with its logo prominently displayed on the rear wheel arches of Sam Osbourne’s car, and its parent company, OSRAM, with its logo under both headlights of Dan Rowbottom’s car.
Opportunities with NAPA Racing
“This year we have decided for both Ring and OSRAM to support the NAPA Racing team after the very impressive season they had last year,” commented Marketing Director, Henry Bisson. “A hat-trick of titles is something they will want to retain this year, and we want to be on that journey with them.
“The BTCC is massively well supported with big numbers of fans. By sponsoring NAPA Racing, Ring and OSRAM will be able to present itself to a large audience of motoring enthusiasts. Such exposure allows us to make this key customer group fully aware the complete OSRAM and Ring range of products.
“Being aligned with the NAPA Racing team allows us to bring a lot of attention to our brands and therefore, increase our identity in the automotive industry.”
The BTCC season kicks off at Donington Park on 28th April, with the final race at Brands Hatch on 6th October.
