Understand an online presence at OESAA Academy Live

Garage Services Online will be present at the next OESAA Academy Live event to offer independent garages advice on creating and exploiting an online presence.

Jim Lang, Managing Director at Garage Services Online, will be on hand at the event, taking place at Lincoln College on the 14th January, and will deliver a 20-minute session at 9.35am on the power of being online. Lang will discuss how independent workshops can use a web-based platform to attract the most profitable work and secure future workflow.

OESAA Academy Live is a free even open to business owners and technicians. Alongside Garage Services Online, speakers include representatives from Brembo, Denso, Schaeffler, Varta, Hella and Mahle. Each of these companies will be presenting a training session to attendees who are expected to travel from across the UK.

The day opens with registration at 8.30am and finishes at 4.15pm. To register your attendance, follow this link.

Opportunities from OESAA Academy Live

With so many challenges in the automotive industry, the opportunities offered by events such as OESAA Academy Live are ones that should be taken and acted upon where necessary. With the likelihood of more customers turning to the aftermarket rather than making a vehicle purchase in 2023, an online presence especially is something to consider.

“The OESAA Academy Live event offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and takeaway great technical and business knowledge,” commented Lang.

“The Garage Services Online team will also be on hand in between each of the six training sessions with a free online advice clinic. There is so much that garages can be doing to attract the most profitable work they want via online platforms, but many do not know how, or know a trusted source to seek advice from.

“We will happily run a free website health check for any attendees at OESAA Academy Live, so the day promises to offer a well-rounded learning opportunity for garage businesses and one that should not be missed.”

Nigel Morgan, OESAA chairman added: “We are thrilled to have Jim and the Garage Services Online team at this event. As the aftermarket’s go-to for online and website advice, they will bring an extra dimension and real added value to the fantastic training sessions we are running throughout the day.

“With topics covering the latest technologies, installation and diagnostic tips, best practice and products and tools, there is so much to be gained from this free event.”
